Week Reflection
This week I learned that historical fiction books come in all different shapes and sizes. I have always thought of this genre was only chapter books. I liked exploring the different picture historical fiction books because they gave me a visual of what was happening during this time. Even though historical fiction is not a popular genre for students the can find similarities between their selves and the character in the book many of the times making it a little more interesting for the student. Also learning about the different activities that a teacher can do with book clubs was nice because sometimes it is hard for students know what is expect when they are not given direct instructions.
